Understanding your bill
TEC billing dates
- Bills are mailed on or near the 8th of the month
- Payment is due the 25th of every month. (Unless the 25th falls on a weekend or holiday, in which the due date would be the next business day.)
Return payment stub
Perforated for convenience, this stub is to be returned with the payments to ensure accounts are credited correctly.
If a home telephone number is on file in our records, it will appear on this stub. If no number is on file, we will need to be provided with a home and work number where the member may be reached.

Activity since last bill
This area displays the previous balance, payments, and the adjustment activity to an account since the last bill including the total balance forward.

Current month billing details
The amount of electricity used and amounts charged during the billing period.

Billing period comparisons
Current billing period's average per day usage and revenue compared to last year. The average temperature is also listed for each year based on the billing period and the number of days of service in that period.
