Kids Zone The Touchstone Energy Kids Zone is cool place where kids can learn about electricity, energy savings and electrical safety. Energy is part of our daily lives. Every time you watch television or turn on a light you are using electricity. Kids Zone has fun games and activities that will help kids learn about energy and energy efficiency. We have lots of information you can share with your family and friends.

bullet Do you have energy hogs in your house? Play the games and become an official Energy Hog Buster!
The Energy Hog campaign, founded by Energy Outreach Colorado, features educational video games that promote the benefits of energy conservation and energy efficiency.

bullet Learn about energy, where it comes from and how it is used at the Energy Kid's Page. Includes Energy Ant coloring book and links to additional information. Sponsored by the Energy Information Association.

bullet This U.S. Department of Energy's site, Kids Saving Energy, has information about wind energy, solar energy, alternative fuels and much more.

bullet Nuclear power plants are one way to generate electricity. Learn more about nuclear reactors, radiation, terms and more at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Student's Corner.

bullet Help your parents reduce their energy bills, learn what other kids are doing to save energy and view Did you Know? video clips to learn surprising facts about energy at the Alliance to Save Energy Kid's page.

bullet The Student's Corner explains how the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission regulates energy for the United States including the history and the energy industries regulated.

bullet At California Energy Commission's Energy Quest, kids can read a story, try a science project, learn about renewable resources, play with puzzles and meet super scientists!

bullet Learn where the wind comes from and how a wind turbine works at the Danish Wind Energy Association's Wind with Miller page.

bullet At EPA's Environmental Kid's Club, explore your environment and learn about what you can do to protect it. There are games, stories and other fun things to do on this site sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

bullet The Department of Energy has two new energy efficiency campaigns for kids on their website: "What's your Excuse?" is focused on ages 8-12 and encourages tweens to save energy at home with a 10-step energy action plan. There is also a Tinker-bell campaign for 8-9 year olds that aims to educate children about positive energy saving habits at the EERE Kids website.
