Youth Tour

Each year, an area high school junior or senior is selected by TEC to represent the co-op as a delegate on the Washington Youth Tour. If selected you will join hundreds of other students from across the country—all expenses paid—for one incredible week at our nation's capitol. The Tour is a fast-paced, leadership opportunity to see what makes America tick!

To be eligible, students must be a junior or senior student and attend one of the following high schools listed at the left.

TEC's Youth Tour exam is a 25-question "open book" exam with all the answers found on websites provided us. The exam is posted yearly during the months of January and February. Scoring a 90% or greater on the exam moves you onto the interview round. Once interviews are completed, members of TEC's Advisory Committee choose a winner. Read more.
